Borrowing guild items

Guild members are free to borrow the items listed below from the guild room by filling out the borrowing forms available at the end of the page.

Board Games

The guild’s board games can be found on the shelf to the left of the kitchen in the guild room.

Billiards

The pool table in the lobby of T-building is freely available during the building’s opening hours. The billiard balls are stored on the shelf to the right of the kitchen in the guild room, and the cue sticks are leaning against the shelf.

Other Borrowable Items

Guild members can also borrow a sewing machine, a toolbox, and various sports equipment from the guild room. Available sports equipment includes a football, a basketball, two volleyballs, disc golf discs, a spikeball set, a slackline, and table tennis paddles, balls, and a net. All of these items can be found on the shelf to the right of the kitchen.

The guild offers its members the opportunity to rent guild items. When renting an item, the borrower is responsible for any damage that occurs during the rental period. Below is a list of all the items available for rent along with their prices. If you wish to rent an item, please fill out the loan request form below.

A guild representative may cancel a reservation if an urgent or unforeseen issue arises. Otherwise, reservations may be canceled by a guild representative at least seven (7) days before the scheduled start of the loan.

Rentable items and the van can be used for official guild activities free of charge. Guild activities include:

• Events primarily aimed for Tietokilta members, alumni, or officials.
• Events organized in collaboration with other guilds or associations, where Tietokilta is a primary organizer and target group (excluding, for example, most events organized by AYY).
• Guild representation visits (company excursions, anniversary celebrations, etc.).
• Ongoing guild activities and maintenance of guild assets (freshman activities, guild room, etc.).
• The use of borrowed items for guild activities must be appropriate and effective.

The standard rental period is a maximum of 3 days unless stated otherwise below. Exceptions can be arranged separately.

Opel Vivaro Technical Details

Contact Tietokilta’s van manager via Telegram (​@jangsteri) or email (paku­vastaava​@tietokilta.fi).

• Specify when you need the van and agree on the pickup time and location.
• Arrive at the agreed location at the agreed time. Complete the necessary paperwork with the van manager or committee representative. Agree on the return time and location.
• Receive the keys and fill out the van loan form: Van form.
• Use the van according to the rental terms. If any issues arise, contact the van manager.
• When finished, fill out the van return form: Van form.
• Return the keys at the agreed time to the committee representative.
• The invoice will be sent to the email address provided in the form.

Terms for borrowing the van as an association:

• Only associations that are official members of Tietokilta are eligible to borrow the van.
• The borrowing association is responsible for the van during the rental period, including its use, condition, and any damages.
• The van may only be driven by members of the borrowing association. Drivers do not have to be members of Tietokilta but must belong to the borrowing association.

All reservations for private individuals and association members’ with under 24h reservations:

• Opening fee: 30 €
• Mileage fee: 0,5 € /​ km
• Hourly rate: 6 € /​ h for each starting hour after the first six hours
  
  Associations' bookings over 24h:
• Opening fee: 30 €
• Mileage fee: 0,5 € /​ km
• Daily rate: 72 € /​ 24h for each starting day
• The guild reserves the right to combine two consecutive bookings made by the same person into one booking.

Use for official guild activies is free of charge.
