Get ready to pack your bags, as the legendary Baltic Long Excursion is back! This year, we will travel through Estonia and Latvia, stopping in Riga, Tartu, and Tallinn, among others!

**What is the Baltic Long? ** The Baltic Long is a four-day foreign excursion with a route that takes you to Riga, Tartu, and Tallinn, and back to Otaniemi. Travel will be by bus, departing early on Friday, January 24, from the Otaniemi bus stop (Otakaari 18). The return is to the same address on Monday. The detailed itinerary will be provided later.

What is a foreign excursion? Foreign excursions are trips organized by the guild to a destination chosen by its members. These trips may include various activities such as visits to local student organizations or companies, as well as experiencing local culture and having fun in the spirit of a Finnish student engineer.

!!NOTE!! Ensure that you have the necessary travel document (passport/ID card; DRIVING LICENSE IS NOT ACCEPTED and a Schengen visa) valid for the entire trip. If you cannot participate due to a missing/expired document, the guild will not refund your payment.

To register for the excursion, you must be a member of the Computer Science Guild and have paid any outstanding debts to the guild. If a registrant has unpaid debts when registration closes, they will be removed from the list and the spot will be filled from the waitlist. There will be a physical registration event held at the guild room (Konemiehentie 2) 22.11.2024 at 13:00. You may queue for registration, more details are available in the excursion bylaw proposal. The following information will be requested during registration:

• Full name
• Email address
• Telegram username (or phone number)
• Confirmation of a valid travel document
• Whether you are a freshman (started in 2024)

If you cannot attend in person, you may authorize someone to queue for you. Note that one person can only register themselves or a friend, not both. Registration will move online on the guild's website on Sat, 23.11. at 06:00 and will close on 1.12.2024 at 23:59. Registration is binding after the form closes.

A quota of 15 places is reserved for freshmen.

WHERE? Otaniemi-Tallinn-Riga-Tartu-Tallinn-Otaniemi
WHEN? January 24-27, 2025 WHY? Because a bus ride is full of atmosphere!
COST? Approximately €250, if the bus is filled. The price cap is €280.
WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE? Bus rides, ferry crossings, hotels with breakfast, and potentially some activities.

The trip will be held if at least 40 people register.
