Have you thought about exchanging patches with other CS students at the Battle of the Titans? Do you just want to chill with other guild members while sewing patches and enjoying snacks? The Grandma Club is organizing another patch sewing night at the village living room on the 18th of March!

The Grandmas will be there to help with the sewing, so no worries if your sewing skills are a bit rusty! There will also be small snacks and some sewing equipment to borrow, but please bring your own equipment if you can!

You can join and leave at your own pace, no signup needed!

Hello, guild member! Our beloved guild is turning a grand 40 years old next year! That means it’s time to celebrate this incredible milestone in style.

The Jubilee Committee will be organizing the guild’s 40th Annual Ball (Muistinnollaus), along with the most exciting and unforgettable jubilee events and festivities throughout the year. Essentially, this committee is also the M0 40 committee!

We need a wide range of skills in the team, but the most important selection criteria are your motivation and commitment to the jubilee year and/​or the annual ball! No prior experience is needed, we want to see all kinds of applicants!

ÄPY-WAPPU IS COMING, ARE YOU READY?

Crisis Support for Students at Aalto

- Aalto chaplains offer discussion support and are available to the Aalto community regardless of religion or worldview.
- Starting Point of Wellbeing provides guidance and advice if a student is unsure where to find help or support. No appointment is needed, and students can be referred to the service with a low threshold.
- Aalto’s student psychologists offer crisis support to student communities (such as group debriefings) and individual discussions as needed.
- YTHS (Finnish Student Health Service) also provides support for students.

- MIELI Mental Health Finland’s Crisis Center offers face-to-face support and peer support groups.
- HelsinkiMissio’s Youth Crisis Point provides free and confidential discussion support for people under 30.
