There will be a variety of activities available such as trampolines, a Dodge Ball arena, a rope course, and a Ninja Warrior track, so there's plenty of fun to be had for the whole evening. No prior experience or skill are required.

Bring along comfortable clothes, a water bottle, and a positive attitude

The Man, The Myth, The Legend!

Esa Saarinen is jumping back into the game, taking the grand finale of the Philosophy and Systems Thinking course by storm! This spectacle is one you definitely don’t want to miss. The lecture is titled “Channel Skipping vs. Peeking Out on Tiptoes” – if that doesn't perk up your ears and send your thoughts floating to the back of Aalto Hall, what will?

Aalto University’s own high-register-thinking philosopher will take the stage in the legendary Aalto Hall (in the Undergraduate Centre) on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025, from 15:00 to 18:00.

You’re warmly welcome to join – this is a rare experiential treat: the most beautiful lecture hall in the world, full of focused people, as emotionally charged thinking flows through the space in real time, enhanced by the poetic acoustics of Aalto Hall and grounded in razor-sharp analysis. This kind of brain candy doesn’t come around often, so don’t miss your chance!

The event begins with a cocktail gathering at the Tietokilta guild room at 14:44, where coffee will be brewed (yes, really). From there, the delegation will make a group departure at 14:54, marching gracefully toward the Kandidaattikeskus!

Note: Even with international superstar Esa in the house, the event will be in Finnish.

Welcome to the first Teekkari Assembly of the year, which will be held on Wednesday 26.3. starting at 18.00 in the B hall (Otakaari 1). Every member of AYY is welcome to join the meeting. In accordance with section 14 of the permanent decision of Teekkari Section, a permission to wear the Teekkari Cap is in effect in the meeting. At the meeting, there will be live interpretation from Finnish to English available for those that need it.

Has May Day got you dancing with joy? Are your dancing feet as swift as Anna Pavlova’s, or are your dance skills as rusty as IE’s känni pipe? Come join us for a ballroom dance night on April 9th at Smökki! The evening will kick off with a dance instructor, making the event suitable even for beginners.

The doors to Smökki open at 5:30pm and the dancers' feet are warmed up starting at 6pm with the lead of a dance teacher. At 7pm it is time to let the music take one away, as the floor is opened up to all.

Joining on the dancefloor costs only 5€, with tickets sold here starting on Wednesday 26th March at 2pm. Be there of be square.

- Aalto chaplains offer discussion support and are available to the Aalto community regardless of religion or worldview.
- Starting Point of Wellbeing provides guidance and advice if a student is unsure where to find help or support. No appointment is needed, and students can be referred to the service with a low threshold.
