Kotimaan Pitkä 2025

Pack your bags – the legendary Kotimaan Pitkä excursion is back for the first time since Covid!

What is Kotimaan Pitkä?
Kotimaan Pitkä is a five-day excursion across Finland along a mystery route X – leaving participants guessing the destinations until the very end! The journey takes place by bus, departing on Thursday morning, September 10th, from outside the Undergraduate Centre in Otaniemi (Otakaari 2). Return is on Sunday evening, September 14th, to the same spot. The trip program will unfold piece by piece during the adventure. Expect group activities with fellow students, fascinating company visits, casual exploring of destinations, and a healthy dose of culture to spice up the bus rides.

What is an excursion?
Excursions are trips organized by the Guild to destinations chosen by its members. Programs may include visits to local student organizations or companies, discovering local culture, and of course plenty of fun in true teekkari spirit.

The trip costs no more than €140. Each additional participant lowers the total cost, so bring a friend along!

Registration opens on the guild website on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, at 16:00.

A quota of 10 places is reserved for freshmen. The trip will be organized if at least 30 participants register.

WHAT? Kotimaan Pitkä 2025
WHERE? Mystery Route X in Finland
WHEN? September 10–14, 2025
WHY? Because nothing beats the atmosphere on a bus trip!
HOW MUCH? Max €140
WHAT’S INCLUDED? Bus rides, accommodation, and meals

Suggest a receiver of a badge of merit

The CS Guild's semi-annual ball, Välimuistinnollaus, is approaching, and it's time again to give recognition to those who have worked for the guild.

Based on the proposals, the guild's Acknowledgement Group presents merit badges to be awarded to the board, which accepts the proposal.

The nomination form is open until the evening of 7.9.!
