Is your mouho tooth bothering you? Do you crave more information about the upcoming elections? Have you thought about whether you should continue doing guild activities for one more year or perhaps should the next year be your first?

If you answered yes to any of the above, it's worth showing up at OK20 big side on 1.10. starting at 18! The current board will present a brief overview of the upcoming election process, followed by open discussion with the current actives of the guild. Additionally, there will be a sauna at the event and some light snacks!

You may start your election campaign at the event and announce which roles you intend to apply for, or ask your predecessors for more information when thinking about your plans!

More information about the elections and position introductions will be posted on the guild's election forum.

NOTE: It's okay if you can't make it to this event, you can still apply for roles in the elections!

The new overalls are finally here, so it is time to sew some overall patches to them!

Take your shiny new overalls, a pile of patches and head to Ossinkulma on Friday the 3rd to enjoy a chill evening with good company!

The Grandmas will be there to help with sewing, so this is a great opportunity to learn how to sew your first patches! There will also be small snacks and some sewing equipment to borrow, but please bring your own equipment if you can!

For sewing patches, you should buy sewing needles, sewing pins, and extra strong sewing thread!

The event is targeted at fuksis, but all guild members are welcome! In case the space fills up too much, we will prioritize fuksis. You can join and leave at your own pace, no signup needed!

Tietokilta organizes a joint leave for Fyysikkospeksi 2025: Aye, aye captain! The guild supports the price of the ticket, the price for students is only 12€!

Do you often find yourself wondering what secrets cruise ships hold? How would the idyllic maritime atmosphere falter if dissatisfaction and disagreement suddenly began to spread on board? What would be required of the captain to stay on course? Follow Misty, an enthusiastic and ambitious sea captain student, on her first day of work on the M/​S SinCos, led by the feisty Captain Juniper. When emotions run high, will the crew be able to hold on to their hats, or is a shipwreck inevitable?

The event will consist of a keynote and a workshop by Satu Reijonen, a Project Manager at Forum Virium and Head of Innovation at FinEst Centre for Smart Cities. We will shed light on the challenges of collaboration, proposing novel ways to design outside of convention and utilizing AI as a tool to extend our understanding.
