The guild's election meeting is approaching! The election meeting is held in two parts this year. The first part is already tomorrow 7.10. at 18:15. In the first part, the chair of the board is elected for the upcoming year, and they will also serve as the former of the board. Furthermore, a proposal to amend the rules are discussed in the first part.

Are you tired of Mario Kart and craving something more exciting? Something faster ? Something… more real? Here's your chance: TiK and FK are teaming up and facing off to host a karting trial with real go-karts on Monday, 20.10. at 18:00! Which guild's drivers will clock the fastest laps?!
The price is a very student-friendly 10 euros. Leave the banana and turtle shells at home and come race a 2×10min time-trial + GP package ! No driving licence or prior experience required. Please note the venue rules: drivers must be over 140cm tall and under 130kg.
The venue is Formula Center Helsinki, Yläkivenrinne 1. A group departure leaves from A Bloc at 17:00. You'll need an AB zone ticket. You can also arrive independently, but please be at the venue by 17:45 to change gear. All driving gear is provided except shoes. Be aware that your own shoes may get dirty, and you're responsible for them. After changing, driving starts at around 18:00, runs in two heats, and with changes will take about two hours in total.

The Culture Committee of Tietokilta is organizing a joint departure to the concert of the Polyteknikkojen Kuoro and Akademiska Sångföreningen! Once again, the program is packed with nothing but bangers. In the registration form you’ll find the guild’s group order, for which an incredible deal has been negotiated. The participant’s price is only €8!
This year marks the 160th anniversary of Jean Sibelius’s birth. The veterans of Finnish male choir tradition, Akademiska Sångföreningen and Polyteknikkojen Kuoro, will join forces to perform our national composer’s most beloved choral works in both national languages. Sibelius’s compositions have inspired countless choirs and composers both in Finland and internationally. In this concert, old and new meet, offering the audience passion and the radiance of song from the past century.
The concert will be conducted by the choirs’ artistic directors Elisa Huovinen and Tatu Erkkilä.

Join us in saving lives! In Finland, 800 voluntary blood donors are needed every weekday to ensure that around 40,000 seriously ill patients receive the treatment they need each year. That’s why the Aalto University Student Union is once again challenging all organizations and other Aalto groups within its community to donate blood for the common good in the #LuovutusAalto campaign! The campaign period is 1.10.–6.11., during which the blood donation bus will visit Otaniemi three times, and on one additional day, donations can be made at Dipoli. In addition to these, you can donate blood at any Blood Service location. Remember to mention Tietokilta’s name when donating!
