Aalto University School of Science, Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis is looking for new hourly-paid teachers in mathematics and systems analysis for spring term 2026. Your tasks include teaching in exercise groups and grading exercises and exams.
Regarding teaching in mathematics, we expect the applicants to have completed at least 20 credits of mathematical studies at university level with good grades. Five credits may also be substituted with a math intensive course from another field of study. Regarding teaching in systems analysis (courses MS-C/E2xxx), we expect the applicants to have completed the course they are interested in.
If you have previous experience in teaching, it is considered as an advantage, but is not necessary. This is a part-time job (2-4 hours/week). The salary is 30-40 euros/teaching hour based on your education level. Grading exercises and exams will be (typically) compensated separately (300-400 euros depending on your education and the course level).

On Tuesday, October 21st, the most exciting battle of the autumn will take place as the A! Games Championship is held once again after a two year break! The games are open to A! players of all skill levels and the sign-up is per team. Competitions will be held in e.g. croquet, mölkky (Finnish skittles), elephant ball, ultimate, dodgeball, chess, and tug-of-war.
Once the champions have been crowned, all participants are warmly invited to relax at the Otaranta Rooftop Sauna, where the sauna will be heated and refreshments and snacks will be served.

This November, you’ll have the chance to witness the holistic accomplishments of Retuperäs WBK, as the orchestra’s brightest black holes in the musical firmament challenge the spotlights reserved for soloists. Join us on November 29, 2025, at 16:00 at the Helsinki Conservatory.
In addition to harmonies already familiar to the most culturally refined connoisseurs of high art, the concert will feature brand-new solo arrangements. The orchestra will be conducted by Retuperäs WBKs own soloist-in-residence, the now well-known Minna-Aria Häsling.
Ticket sales begin on October 15, 2025, at 19:33 at liput.rwbk.fi. This one-of-a-kind event will cost 10/25€, depending on the ticket category. Seats are extremely limited, so secure yours early!
