Do you long for some relaxation after the stressful first period? Look no further, because the Gaming Committee and the Grandma Club are organizing the Cookies & Games night on the 21st of October! So join us at the Village living room for a chill evening with fresh cookies, games and great company!

At the event, you'll find piles of board and card games, and the guild's Nintendo Switch with Smash Ultimate and Mario Kart!

When the sugar cravings hit, satisfy them by baking some delicious cookies! There will be many different fillings to choose from - assemble your dream cookie! The Grandma Club will take care of all the equipment and ingredients needed for the cookie baking, so the only thing you need to bring is yourself (and a box for the cookies if you want to take them home)!

The sign-up is meant for estimating the amount of cookie ingredients needed, and it isn't mandatory or binding. So sign up, if you want to bake cookies! We will also take allergies, diets and filling-wishes into consideration, if you write them in the sign-up!

The statutory election meeting of Tietokilta ry will be held on Tuesday, 7 October 2025 starting at 18:15 in lecture hall T1 of the T-building (Konemiehentie 2, Espoo). During the meeting, a recess will be held after the discussion of item 6. The recess will last until Monday, 27 October 2025 at 17:15.

During the recess, the chair of the board elected in the first part of the meeting will act as the former of the board and will present a proposal for the board to the meeting for the second part after the recess.

You can learn about the election process on the election forum at vaalit.tietokilta.fi, where applications for positions of responsibility are also submitted once the application period opens. The more actively the forum is used for discussion before the meeting, the more smoothly the meeting will proceed!

At the meeting, the board for 2026 (chairperson and other board members), committees with their chairs, other officials, auditors, and the Oltermanni for 2026 will be elected.

Tietokilta organizes a joint leave for Fyysikkospeksi 2025: Aye, aye captain! The guild supports the price of the ticket, the price for students is only 12€!

The Culture Committee of Tietokilta is organizing a joint departure to the concert of the Polyteknikkojen Kuoro and Akademiska Sångföreningen! Once again, the program is packed with nothing but bangers. In the registration form you’ll find the guild’s group order, for which an incredible deal has been negotiated. The participant’s price is only €8!

This year marks the 160th anniversary of Jean Sibelius’s birth. The veterans of Finnish male choir tradition, Akademiska Sångföreningen and Polyteknikkojen Kuoro, will join forces to perform our national composer’s most beloved choral works in both national languages. Sibelius’s compositions have inspired countless choirs and composers both in Finland and internationally. In this concert, old and new meet, offering the audience passion and the radiance of song from the past century.

The concert will be conducted by the choirs’ artistic directors Elisa Huovinen and Tatu Erkkilä.

It’s time to sing something brand new! The creations of the 2025 Song Contest will be performed at the Song Contest Sitsit, which kicks off the Teekkari Tradition Week. A distinguished jury will also announce the winners in each category during the evening.

So if you want to be among the first to hear the newest masterpieces — or simply enjoy great company and fresh lyrics — these sitsit are just for you!

The Song Contest Sitsit will take place on October 31 in OK20 upstairs.

Doors open at 18:00, and the gong will sound at 18:30. All members of the Aalto community are warmly welcome, regardless of whether you’ve taken part in the contest or not.

You can find the registration form and more information about the contest through the link provided. By submitting a song, you get a chance to buy your ticket straight away.

General ticket sales for the sitsit will open on 20.10.25 at 12:00 on Kide.app!

Welcome to the biggest and wildest event of the Fall - Polin Appro 2025! This time, we are heading to the savanna, where wild animals and unforgettable vibes will fill the day! 

Join us on a journey through the urban jungle as Polin Appro takes over the Old Poli neighborhood on November 5th! The night will be packed with fun checkpoints and the afterparty at Apollo guarantees wild times until the early hours!

Dominante’s 50th Anniversary Concert is a celebration of choral music! The jubilee year culminates in the choir’s anniversary concert at Helsinki Music Centre.
