The Culture Committee is taking Tietokilta members to see a selection of diverse, surprising, and above all high-quality comedy performers on 4.12. from 18:45 to 21:00 at the affordable price of just 8€, including a shared departure. A great deal, makes you laugh!

Komediaklubi SALAKERTA puts together each night’s lineup with two priorities: how funny the artist is, and that they are active in the 2020s. The Finnish comedy scene is full of bold, insightful, and extremely funny performers, and it is their great honor to bring them all under one roof!

If the quota fills up, we will try to purchase additional tickets for those on the waiting list once registration closes.

TiKchristmas

It's that time of the year again, when we can celebrate the arrival of christmas on TiK's traditional TiKchristmas! So put on something christmassy and load yourself with christmas spirit and then arrive to Rantasauna on the 8.12.

We will provide you with a christmas feast, refreshments and a possibility to go to the sauna and hot tub. So remember to bring your towel and swim trunks if this is something you would be interested in!

Christmas baking and games night

Christmas is fast approaching and the hunger for Christmas foods is growing, so come join us on December 9th at the village living room to enjoy the Christmas spirit, bake cookies and Christmas tarts (joulutorttu), play games from the gaming committee, or just relax after TiKchristmas!

You can bake and decorate alone or in small groups, either way the dough will be distributed to small groups. We recommend bringing your own gingerbread cookie molds and a rolling pin (which we don’t have many of). If you want to take your baked goods home you should also bring a container.

The sign-up is meant to estimate the amount of ingredients needed, and it’s not binding or mandatory. So if you want to bake make sure to sign up! We will also take into account the allergies and diets from the sign-up into account.

To celebrate, we’ve curated a wonderful selection of films for you to enjoy at the premium jubilee year film screening. Join us for a journey through time as we show four movies from four different decades!

SIK x TiK x AS N's Christmas party

The first snowfalls of winter brought the year's last event of the N-club, namely the SIK x TiK x AS N's Christmas party!

Welcome to the Takakabinetti (JMT3) on Fri 19.12. from 6 PM onwards to celebrate the start of the Christmas holidays! There will be delicious Christmas food, fun and silly programs, and lots of Christmas spirit <3 Rumor has it that Santa Claus might even show up.

If you want to participate in the secret santa, please bring a gift worth about 5€.

A warm welcome to atmospheric Dominante 50 Joulun tähden Christmas concerts! ️
The program includes the most beloved Christmas tunes, traditional Dominante Christmas repertoire and some new acquaintances. The choir is conducted by Seppo Murto, and the concerts feature organist Pekka Suikkanen and baritone soloist Risto Pulkamo.

The Final Kaleidoscope Cinema Screening of 2025 on 11 December!

Welcome to the final Kaleidoscope Cinema screening of 2025 — and to a conversation on disabilities and accessibility in academia.

Join us at the Odeion Auditorium to watch two short films that introduce the theme and open space for shared reflection. This time, we will screen two international shorts: the award-winning Belgian fiction Downside Up (2017) and the experimental short documentary Upgrade (2024). The films set the stage for a panel discussion that explores the topic.

About the speakers
Amu Urhonen is a long-time human rights and disability rights activist from Tampere, and an expert on the rights of persons with disabilities. Sanni Purhonen is a Finnish poet, journalist, literary critic, and disability activist. Jenni Toivonen is a student in the Master’s Programme in Advanced Energy Solutions – Energy Systems and Markets, and a board member of the Aalto University Student Union (AYY).
